Aqua Lab Armada
An Initiative of Remake Learning’s Moonshot Grants
ABOUT the PROJECT
Aqua Lab Armada is an experimental process designed to cultivate the next generation of environmental leaders from underserved communities. Rooted in the Watersmith Guild’s student-led water quality monitoring initiative, Aqua Lab Adventures, the Armada provides a structured pathway where mentorship, environmental education, and outdoor leadership intersect. Youth become not just students, but harbingers of systemic change by using science, storytelling, and stewardship to improve the health of their local waterways and communities.
What’s a Moonshot?
Remake Learning Moonshot Grants challenge educators to envision a preferred future of learning and imagine what small steps they can take today to catalyze movement toward giant leaps for the future of learning.
Remake Learning’s bold support will allow the Watersmith Guild to imagine a future where young people drive social and environmental justice—and we will bring this future to fruition through Aqua Lab Armada. Follow along to see the incredible impact that Aqua Lab Armada’s high school ambassadors will have on our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube!
