First Waves of Negley Run

The inception of change…

First Waves of Negley Run follows youth from across Pittsburgh as they explore the Negley Run Watershed and discover how their actions can support the health of local waterways. Through hands-on learning, collaboration, and time spent on the water, participants build skills, confidence, and a deeper connection to their community. Created in partnership with The Kingsley Association and the Negley Run Watershed Task Force, this film celebrates local stewardship, shared responsibility, and the power of young people to shape the future of Negley Run.
