Water in a Changing World - Presentation at the University of Pittsburgh

Join Ian Smith, Executive Director of The Watersmith Guild, for an engaging presentation and discussion titled “Water in a Changing World,” hosted in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory and the University of Pittsburgh.

This casual, conversational session will explore the founding of The Watersmith Guild and highlight several of our most exciting local initiatives — from paddleboarding expeditions with Pitt’s Provost Academy, to First Waves Beaver County, and the debut of our all-new First Waves of Negley Run Project.

Attendees will also get an exclusive first look at never-before-seen videos from the Guild’s latest media projects — powerful stories that connect community, creativity, and conservation.

Whether you’re joining us in person or virtually, this is a great opportunity to learn more about how storytelling, adventure, and environmental education are helping shape a more connected and resilient watershed community.
